Welcome to ActionAssets.com!! We have separate tabs in our Help section to provide you with detailed information about: Registration, My Account, Bidding and Selling. Below please find some general information in our Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ’s
What do you sell on ActionAssets.com? We sell any asset that our clients want to move out of inventory. You might typically find rolling stock such as: Cars, Vans, Trucks, Motorcycles and specialized equipment like Fork Lifts, Fire Trucks or Ambulances. We also sell used equipment such as Computers, Monitors, Phone Systems, Office Furniture etc. Some sellers have seized assets like jewelry, home furnishings etc. Again, we sell anything and everything that our customers want to turn into CASH. How does the asset get sold on your site? We are an online auction and all assets have a start and end time to their sale. The seller will specify the start price, and people bid against each other in specified bid increments. Our auctions allow the Seller to set Reserves and Buy Now pricing. The highest bidder at the end of the sale wins the asset if the Reserve price has been met. If there is a Buy Now price set then the auction will end if someone decides to buy the asset off the site at the Buy Now price. Who are your sellers? Our sellers vary and include: Commercial Fleets, Cities, Municipalities, Government agencies and Federal Gov't accounts. What is a Reserve? Reserve price is the absolute minimum dollar amount the Seller will accept for an item. Buyers are notified after placing their bid if it is below the Reserve price. If a Buyer's maximum bid is greater than the Reserve price, the Reserve is automatically met and that user is the high bidder. When reserve is met someone will own that asset at the end of the auction. If during an auction reserve is not met then the item will not be sold. Items that are listed with No Reserve will be sold as long as at least one bid is made. What is Buy Now? When listing an item, the seller may have the option of setting a Buy Now price. The Buy Now feature allows instant purchasing and ends the auction on that asset. How do I search your site? You can search for assets on the Home Page or Browse assets by Category. The tab “Browse” lists out all Categories available and the number of listings under each Category. Simply click on one of the Categories you are interested in and those listings will display. There are also two ways to search to “Search” the site. Basic Search and Advanced Search. Basic Search - Accessible from both the Home Page and Browse. • Enter Keywords, Listing#, or Username (Username is the Seller Name) • Select appropriate search parameter o Title o Listing # o User

The following options are available for the Advanced Search: • Category - Select a specific item category or "All Categories." • Search - Enter Keywords or Listing #. Press "GO" to activate Advanced Search. • From the Search Results screen you can click on Display Search Form and you’re your previous search criteria. How do I pay for the items that I won? When an auction is closed and you have the winning bid you will receive and email from ActionAsset.com with your invoice and directions. On the site itself you can go to My Account to see any items that are awaiting checkout or payment. We accept, Wire Transfer, Money Orders and Cashiers Checks. Can I buy items before the auction? No, but if there is a Buy Now price when the auction opens you can choose this option and buy the asset right away instead of waiting for however many days the auction will be open. You pay the Buy Now price and close the sale. What is a Buyer’s Premium or Buyers Fee? A Buyers Premium or Buyers Final Sale Fee is an additional charge, often referred to as a Buy Fee that is added to the final selling price of an asset. The charge is X % of the final selling price. The amount you will be charged displays when you Review Bid to Accept Bid. For example: If an asset sold for $1,000 and there is a 5% Buyers Fee then the Buyers Fee will be $50 making the total charge $1,050. The total will be reflected on your invoice. How do I find out more information on a posted asset? Contact information for each item will be provided in the listing. Call or email for more information. You can also choose to “Ask the Listing Owner a Question” at the bottom of the listing and wait for their response on the site. Can I Change my User Name after I register? Yes, you can go into My Account and request the name change. ActionAssets.com will validate the availability of the requested name change and either approve or deny the change. If the name is already taken then you can continue to try others until you find one that you can use.
